Timura is a dancer, performer, researcher of the forms of movement and interaction between people. She organizes music, dance and art events in the South of Russia. From 2015 she has been conducting regular groups and trainings in contact improvisation and free dance.
Timura dances Contact improvisation the way she dance the life – at times going very deep into feelings, at times surfacing to the physical body. She teaches how to feel joy with every happening thing when dancing. She teaches to look for and find the interest in every process. She teaches to say No to something, what is not suitable for one right now. She teaches diving into the unknown. Risking. Expanding boundaries. She teaches being open and flexible, hearing the music of the partner, being sensitive to the surroundings. She teaches being oneself, the way only one can be. She teaches the sincerity and clearness of ones manifestations. She teaches cocreation: we do together what we can’t do separately.
Timura is amazed how from 2 universes there comes out one new universe, even if only for a moment, while the dance lasts, but if not this, what else can we call miracle? When she dance contact improvisation, she feel that it’s happening right here right now. And it’s absolutely genuine and unique.
